Washington president Donald Trump blast the media for not publicizing the name of the person who has been analyzed in the conservative circles as the whistleblower who drive the impeachment inquiry. Still, Trump has attentively avoided using the name himself.
Even for President, exposing whistleblower can be a dicey. More nothing, identifying the whistleblower could be a violation of federal law. Whereas, sometimes Trump could face a little charges, revealing the name could give Democrats more impeachment fodder. This may also arouse a black lash amid some of the Senate Republicans who have long defended whistleblowers.
Trump finds some benefits in keeping it secret, despite wanting the name to be disclosed. It is said so because it was easier for him to undermine the credibility of the complaint as well as the person behind the complaint.
